SHIRK WALKS IN ABUBAKR

We find bukhari writing in his adab-ul-mufrid

Maaqil bin Yasar says that once I went along with Abu bakar to Holy Prophet sawa, and he sawa said:- O Abu bakar, shirk is walking in you in tone which is silent than the walk of ant…….

ABUBAKR THE WORTHLESS LEADER - DEBATE

A renowned scholar of the Ahle Tasannun (those who claim to follow the Sunnah) from Iraq Abu Huzail al-Allaaf narrates: During one of my journeys from ‘Raqqa’, I heard about an insane person who was a resident of ‘Ma’bade Zaki’. He was very well-mannered and soft-spoken. I went to meet him in Ma’bad. He was an old and tall person seated on a mat. He was combing his hair and beard. I saluted him and we had some discussion, which is as follows:
Old man: Where do you hail from?
Abu Huzail: Iraq
Old man: So you are experienced and possess good manners. Which city of Iraq do you hail from?
Abu Huzail: Basra
Old man: What is your name?
Abu Huzail: I am Abu Huzail-e-Allaaf
Old man: The famous debater?
Abu Huzail: Yes
On learning this, he rose from his place and made me sit next to him on the mat and after some discussion asked: What are your views on Imamat?
Abu Huzail: Which Imamat are you referring to?
Old man: I mean, after the demise of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.), who did you consider as his successor and vicegerent?

No virtue for Abu Bakr in the Incident of the Cave

Many so-called Muslims claim the superiority of Abu Bakr as he was the companion of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) inside the cave on the night of migration. Among other points, they conclude that this makes him an automatic choice as the caliph of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.)!! (Take lesson, O people of wisdom!)
Reply
Accompanying the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) is not a virtue unless it is on a divine command. Without a divine command, it is like any other action and no special position or virtue can be claimed for it. Particularly, for accompanying the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) in the cave, which as we shall see was a source of ignominy and humiliation for Abu Bakr.
Argument of the skeptics
Let us first examine the argument advanced by the skeptics favoring Abu Bakr.
As proof they advance the 40th verse of Surah Taubah (9):
‘If you do not help him, Allah certainly will help him when those who disbelieved expelled him, he being the second of the two, when they were both in the cave, when he said to his companion: Grieve not, surely Allah is with us. So Allah sent down His tranquility upon him and strengthened him with hosts which you did not see, and made lowest the word of those who disbelieved; and the word of Allah, that is the highest; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.’
These Muslims derive the following points from the verse:
  1. Allah, the Merciful in the Quran has mentioned His messenger (s.a.w.a.) and also mentioned Abu Bakr as the “second of the two”.
  2. Allah in this verse has mentioned both (Messenger and Abu Bakr) together which underlines their special relation
  3. In the aforementioned verse, Allah mentioned Abu Bakr as the Prophet’s (s.a.w.a.) companion which tells us Abu Bakr’s status.
  4. Allah has informed Abu Bakr through the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) which is stated as ‘don’t grieve’

ALLAH CLOSES ALL DOOR ON ABUBAKR - HE TRIES BACKDOOR ENTRY

For some Muslims, guidance means to spread lies, misinformation and creating differences within the community. One of their attempts is aimed at transferring virtues from one individual to another based on some fabricated reports and traditions. One such virtue relates to closing the doors of the Mosque of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) for all companions save one.
It is surprising to find Muslims groping for answers to the identity of the companion, when the matter is already settled in favour of the chosen companion – Ameerul Momineen Ali b. Abi Talib (a.s.) as the only one along with the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) whose door was allowed to be opened into Masjid al-Nabawi (s.a.w.a.).

Argument of the skeptics

First let us examine the tradition introduced by these Muslims to support their claim regarding Abu Bakr.
Zaid b. Arqam states – Allah’s Apostle (s.a.w.a.) addressed the people saying – Allah has given option to a slave to choose this world or what is with Him. The slave has chosen what is with Allah.
Abu Bakr wept and we were astonished at his weeping caused by what the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) mentioned as to a slave (of Allah) who had been offered a choice, (we learned later on) that Allah’s Apostle (s.a.w.a.) himself was the person who was given the choice, and that Abu Bakr knew best of all of us.
Allah’s Apostle (s.a.w.a.) added – The person who has favoured me most of all both with his company and wealth is Abu Bakr. If I were to take a Khalil (friend) other than my Lord, I would have taken Abu Bakr as such, but (what relates us) is the Islamic brotherhood and friendliness. All the gates of the Mosque should be closed except the gate of Abu Bakr.
(Sahih al-Bukhari, vol. 5, Book 57, No. 6)

Reply

The only response we can give to such sham reports is by advancing authentic reports that clearly disprove this virtue for Abu Bakr and reposit it in favour of its true owner – Ameerul Momineen Ali b. Abi Talib (a.s.).
To make the matter more conclusive we begin by relating the traditions that Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (exp. 852 A.H.) has documented in his Sharh of Sahih-e-Bukhari – Fath al-Baari fi Sharh Saheeh al-Bukhaari.

Abubakr considered adultery to be destined by Allah

From Ibne Umar: A person came to Abu Bakr and asked him, do you consider Zina (adultery/fornication) to be destined? He said yes, the man asked Allah has destined it and then will punish me for it? He said yes oh son of uncircumcised woman , by Allah if there were anybody with me I would order him to cut off your nose.

Abu Bakr’s Approval of Rape

Rape is a barbaric crime and is considered so across the world. But one problem that is seen all over is the low rate of conviction for this crime. Just as there is huge hue and cry against the crime itself, there is equal protest against the lack of punishment to those who perform this inhuman crime. But this is not new!

History has seen such incidents when this heinous crime was committed and not only went unpunished; rather, it had the explicit nod and approval of the illegitimate ruling Caliph of the Muslims.

It was the first rape after the death of Holy Prophet (a.s.) and during the so-called caliphate of Abu Bakr (curse be upon him).

Malik Ibn Nuwayrah was a Muslim, a follower of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and an ardent lover of Ameerul Momineen Ali Ibn Abi Taalib (a.s.). He had an extremely beautiful wife, Layla bint al-Minhal. When Maalik refused to pay taxes to Abu Bakr as he did not recognize him as the rightful caliph, Khaalid b. Waleed (curse be upon him), under the instructions of Abu Bakr (curse be upon him) and in his animal lust to court her, killed Maalik and on the same night married his wife forcefully and raped her.

He did not even let the waiting period (Iddah), which is 4 months and 10 days, expire. Evidently, his act was tantamount to adultery because marriage during the period of Iddah is not permissible. Also, it was clear-cut case of rape because it did not have the obvious consent of Maalik’s wife, who was forced into this relationship.

The illegitimately elected Abu Bakr (curse be upon him) neither charged the accursed Khaalid (curse be upon him) of adultery nor did he punish him, although being the Caliph of the Muslims and taking action on such a crime was obligatory on Abu Bakr (curse be upon him).

[Reference: Taareekh-e-Tabari: vol 2, pg 502]

No wonder that rape has become such a common crime thanks to the negligence of rulers like Abu Bakr (curse be upon him).

Worse, today followers of Abu Bakr (curse be upon him) and Khaalid (curse be upon him), like the heretical Al-Arifi of Saudi Arabia are giving sanctions to the armed gangs (whom they try to glorify as Mujahideen) from Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries fighting in Syria to rape Syrian girls from age 14 onwards to satisfy their lust!

No wonder Muslims have fallen to such pits when such ignoramuses move around in the garb of clerics and claiming to be the followers of companions (Salafis)!!

Abu Bakar plots to kill Imam Ali (a.s.)

When Fadak was forcefully usurped from Fatemah Zahra (s.a.) by the first oppressor Abu Bakr, the infallible daughter of Holy Prophet (s.a.) ordered that curtains should be put up inside the mosque.

Following which, Janabe Zahra (s.a.) entered the mosque and gave an articulate and coherent sermon. First, she (a.s.) averred the Oneness of Allah the Almighty then she spoke about Islam and its laws after which she (s.a.) started to converse on the issue of Fadak.

She (s.a.) said: “Every one is fully aware that Fadak was gifted to me by my respected father (s.a.w.a.) and it was under my possession. Therefore, on what premises has the government confiscated it?”

After her speech, Abu Bakr retorted, “We want you prove to us by producing witnesses that what you claim [that Fadak was gifted to you by The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.)]”

Ironically, in the light of Islamic laws, it is Abu Bakr who should have put forward evidence for claiming Fadak from Fatemah Zahra (s.a.). Religious rules clearly state that a thing which is already in possession of a Muslim is in itself an irrefutable evidence that the thing belongs to him/her.

On this basis, Abu Bakr and Umar ibn al-Khattab should have brought forward evidence for filching Fadak from Ahlul Bayt (a.s.).
